Brand Manager - Luxury Beauty Retail

Our client, a luxury lifestyle company, is looking for a trend-spotting Brand Manager to cope with their business development.
The Job
- Formulate overall plans for developing the company's brand portfolio in a luxury direction
- Monitor and manage sales performance, inventory turnover and other performances indicators for existing beauty brands
- Manage ROI and P&L of brands and monitor rolling forecasts to regularly review partnership
- Explore and identify potential brands and negotiate partnership contracts including exclusive deals; conduct market research on consumer behaviour, market trend, and competitor performances
- Set pricing and margin strategy aligning to both company's and brand owner's standard; maximise P&L through strategic pricing strategy
- Develop marketing and promotion plans for individual brands
- Manage merchandising operations from buying, selection of products to inventory control and logistic arrangements
- Recruit and train sales team in selling and storytelling techniques based on product and brand knowledge
The Candidate
- Tertiary education in business, marketing, advertising or relevant fields
- 4+ years in beauty, skincare, cosmetics and lifestyle retail
- Trend-spotting and trend-setting, market and business acumen; good understand China market
- Analytical and organisation skills
- Highly fluent English and Mandarin is a must
- Strong connections with various beauty brands from around the world, ranging from popular and trending brands to lifestyle and niche brands
- Frequent travel is needed
