Business Development Manager
at Magic Search Ltd in Beijing
Our client, a luxury lifestyle company in Beijing, is looking for a proactive Business Development Manager to cope with their rapid growth of business in luxury beauty.
The Job
- Formulate overall plans and short-, mid- and long-term strategies for developing the company's partnership with International skincare, cosmetics and beauty and wellness retail industry
- Negotiate development plans, account period terms, commission scheme etc with suppliers; plan commodity procurement plans for beauty categories
- Monitor and manage sales performance, inventory turnover and other performances indicators for existing beauty brands; manage ROI and P&L and conduct rolling forecasts to regularly review partnership
- Negotiate partnership contracts and line up exclusive deals; conduct market research on consumer behaviour, market trend, and competitor performances; explore and identify potential brands
- Develop marketing and promotion plans
- Recruit and train sales team in selling and storytelling techniques based on product and brand knowledge
The Candidate
- Tertiary education in business, marketing, commerce or relevant fields
- 4+ years in beauty, skincare, cosmetics and lifestyle retail
- Trend-spotting and trend-setting, market and business acumen; good understand China market
- Negotiation and communication skills; sociable with analytical skills and can-do spirit
- Highly fluent English and Mandarin is a must
- Strong connections with various beauty brands from around the world, ranging from popular and trending brands to lifestyle and niche brands
- Frequent travel is needed
