5 Star Hotel Front Desk Manager (Shanghai + Yangzhou)
at ChinaGoldenGate in Shanghai
Twice per year our client, a well-known operator of hotel chains around the world is looking for the following positions for their flag-ship hotel, one of the most luxurious 5 star hotels in Shanghai, as well as their newly opened 5 star property in Yangzhou (east of Nanjing). It's the perfect opportunity for all students and graduates (m/f) in the hospitality sector to gain working experience in the market of the future.
Front Desk Manager (2x Shanghai, 1x Yangzhou)
Task overview:
▪Process all guest check-ins, check-outs, room assignments, and room change/late check-out requests.
▪Activate/reissue room keys.
▪Verify/adjust billing for guests.
▪Coordinate with Housekeeping to track room status and guest concerns.
▪File guest paperwork or documentation.
▪Run and check daily reports, contingency lists, and credit card authorization reports.
▪Supply guests with directions and information.
▪Ensure staffs’ uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional.
▪Answer, record, and process all guest calls, requests, questions. Follow up to ensure each has been met to guests` satisfaction.
Requirements:
Bachelor degree or student of hotel management or other service related major. Fluency in English. Strong service attitude.
Duration:
6-12 months (visa invitation letter will be provided)
Allowance:
2000,-CNY per month. Meals in one of the hotel restaurants. Shared accommodation in “Superior Twin Bed Room” (see pictures). Free use of wellness and fitness area.
Remarks:
Initial training of 2-3 months is given to every participant.
