Vice Academic Principal
at Laowai Here in Guangzhou
Yearly Base Salary:
40W/RMB-50W/RMB base salary (before tax);
Housing allowance (2k/m);

Job Responsibility:
1. Curriculum: In charge of designing the school curriculum according to College requirement and standard, confirm the standards in all areas of the school. Meanwhile, participate the teaching differentiation plan for students who will attend AP test.
2. Teaching: In charge of the management and quality control of the teaching of all courses of the school. Conduct the teaching assessment in a professional manner to improve the teaching quality effectively. Set up academic goals and be able to deliver committed result. Responsible for the academic programs, ensure the programs serve the teaching and students.
3. Teachers: Interview, select, orientate and develop faculty according to the College criteria and the group procedure. Implement the professional development training on a regular basis, follow up and evaluate the training quality.
4. Student and parents: Help student to prepare and realize their college admission plan, provide necessary support. Maintain good relationship and communication with the parents, respond their question in a timely manner, provide solution to their difficulty.
5. Management: Participating in the decision-making process of the major issues concerning the operation and development of the school as part of the school’s management team
6. Other tasks assigned by the upper management.
Job Requirements:
1. Master degree or above in education-related field, familiar with American High school education;
GIA education system or have management experiences at IB school.
2. Candidates must be certified teachers or have 5 years teaching experiences.
3. Have minimum of two years relevant experience
4. English language proficiency and cultural openness are required in all situations.
5. Candidates need to be able to inspire teachers, students and parents
Interaction Network
1. Internal communication: Direct line reports to K12 Director, dotted line report to Chief Academic
2. Principal, responsible for the team building for faculty members.
External Communication: parents, College Directors.
Core Competence:
1. Master degree or above in education-related field.
2. Familiar with faculty team set-up, teaching quality management, communication with parents.
3. Above 2 years related experience, fluent in English.
