Business Manager/Partner

Our client is boutique Business Consultancy firm specializing in Financial Advisory & Accounting, Tax Advisory & Compliance, Human Resource & Outsourcing Services that is based in Shanghai. The firm mainly delivery services to international clients at various stages of development in their business in China. This rapidly growing company is seeking the services of a Business manager/Associate Partner who is experienced in new business development, existing client management and has entrepreneurial flair with a solid understanding of the importance of high touch customer service. This role will lead and supervise a team of delivery consultants.
Responsibilities:
• Understand client’s objectives, goals and requirements and ensure available resources are devoted to clients, and alignment in work process and work deliverables;
• Formulate plans to extend business with established accounts and participate in new-business development;
• Be proactive to interact with customers and well manage the team
• Provide strategic direction and solution to client relationships
• Make full use of MEGI software functions and is able to provide more value-added service to support client’s business’ growth.
• Be proactive to understand service industry trend and government policy, share strategized quality information to clients by every month
• Gain consistent client feedback through formal evaluations by every quarter and respond appropriate.
• Collectively develop tactical plans, review progress and drive accountability
• Ensuring compliance with International Financial Reporting Standards and reporting in line with the company's policies and procedures
• Keep communication with key clients and report feedback of information and direction to company on continuous basis – weekly
• Provide monthly progress reports and forecasts to General Manager;
• Ensure that all possessing necessary records of jobs to expedite billings and payment;
Qualifications & Requirements:
• Experience in the consulting industry
• 6-7 years experiences of managing and serving international accounts
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Basic knowledge of accounting & finance
• Understanding of related policies and regulation (e.g.: Tax…)
• Strong time management/prioritization skills
• Highly organized, detail oriented, client focused and proactive
• Data analysis skills, planning and project management skills
• Strong negotiation skills
• Proficient in written & verbal skills in English
• Strong Microsoft office software using including Word, Excel, PowerPoint/Keynote
• High level of integrity, a team player preferably with some leadership experience.
